  5. BOISE, ID - Bourbaki, Inc. announces the release of Show-It-All, a multimedia
  6. slide show and screen saver authoring system.  Riding the wave of enthusiasm 
  7. generated by our fractal screen saver for Windows, "A Touch of Chaos," users 
  8. expressed a desire to create their own shows, with their own images, sounds...
  9. With Show-It-All, the sky's the limit.

  11. Show-It-All is an icon based, "drag and drop" multi-window graphic environment. 
  12. It enables you to create and compile dynamic slide shows to run as screen 
  13. saver shows under Windows, or from DOS using one of the utilities that comes 
  14. with the system.  It supports a variety of image formats, including FF0
  15. (Bourbaki's fractal file format), BMP, GIF, and PCX.  It also supports WAV and 
  16. VOC sound files, and Autodesk's Animator FLI and FLC files.  Integrating all 
  17. of these provides a playground for creating the screen saver of the week, or 
  18. even the day.  Make them artsy, make them sexy, make them funny, make them 
  19. informative, make them talk, make them walk...  Don't settle for the same old 
  20. thing - "Have it your way."

  22. Creating shows is as simple as dragging "thumbnails" from the image Browser, 
  23. and/or icons from the Toolbox, and dropping them in the slide show window.  
  24. Once in the show window, click on them to specify all the image and palette 
  25. load effects, delays, and loop counters.  Icon settings also allow for 
  26. wildcards and "variable" specifications, enabling simple shows to run with 
  27. the ultimate in variation and diversity.  Run shows from within the 
  28. environment to test them out and fine tune them.  When perfected, compile 
  29. them and load them under Windows with "A Touch of Chaos," or the included 
  30. screen saver module.

  32. Dynamic image loading effects include venetian, random, slide, diagonal, drip,
  33. explode, sand, spiral, split, weave, wipe, and blackout.  Images can also be 
  34. scaled and loaded into specified window positions on the screen.  Palette 
  35. loading effects include strobe, random, venetian, pour, and fade.  Other 
  36. effects settings include speed, direction, and grain size.  Animation and 
  37. sound files also provide their own loop counter settings.

  39. With the growing availability of high quality clip art, "Image" CD ROMs, 
  40. (including the new FracTools CD), and Kodak Photo CD, Show-It-All provides a 
  41. new and creative vehicle for communication.  In the compiled format, 
  42. distribution, to users with "A Touch of Chaos" or our generic screen saver 
  43. module, requires only a single file.  Possible applications range from 
  44. personalized family photos, to kinetic art, to "special interest" fund 
  45. raisers, to fantasy, to voice annotated greeting cards, to corporate

  57. Hardware requirements include: IBM PC, XT, AT, PS/2, 386, 486, or compatible;  
  58. DOS 2.0 or higher;  EGA, VGA or SuperVGA video display card;  Microsoft 
  59. compatible mouse or pointing device; SoundBlaster compatible sound card is
